does anyone here have the mach 1? i want it so bad but i don't have the frogs for it. i have a louet s10 which works well for me but i thought it 'd be neat to have something with a spindle on it so i could spin up larger pieces in it then i saw the mach 1!! my husband doesn't understand why i'd want more than one spinning wheel. one day...
See Mach 1 on my site http://Seabreezespinners.com/ I understand the husband thing...I had to cut back to six wheels. But then of course I added 4 looms. Obsessive? Yes, I could be. But such bliss in my abandonment of reality. Tropical Twister
I know I know! i've actually been to your etsy page. i want that wheel so bad. i told my husband that i'm going to start selling some of the things i make and he needs to buy this wheel for me. Funny you know, i dabble with kumihimo but hadn't thought to use my own handspun. i just use the make-shift cardboard braiding boards and embroidery floss. i thought it would be fun to teach my daughter. she enjoys it. what have you found to be the best wheel for some of the more artsy type yarns with larger pieces to pull throught the orifice? i have a Louet S10 but would have liked to have some sort of spindle attachment. oh well--julianna
